Imagine that you had a bank; every day this bank credits your account with £86,400. You cannot transfer your funds to any other account, and any money you withdraw must be spent. At the end of each day, any money remaining in the account is wiped out. The following day a further £86,400 is credited to your account. If you did have such an account what would you do with the money? The obvious answer is that you would spend the money, as any money you don't spend is wasted. Each and everything single person at this meeting has an account just like this, it is called time. Every day it credits you with 86,400 seconds. Any time that isn't used during the day is wasted! The moral of this story is to use your time wisely; any time that isn't used is wasted. |
